Over 200 healthcare providers and their families were treated to a day of hospitality Roger Bintliff style this past Saturday.

Bintliff, the owner of the Sheepscot Harbour Village & Resort, hosted an appreciation day on Davis Island for people from various medical practices. The event was so successful another appreciation day is being planned for Saturday, July 19 for those healthcare providers unable to attend this past week.

The event included a complimentary barbeque, boat tours of the harbor, a sneak peek on the set of the Chef's Kitchen television program, door prizes and gift bags for those attending.

Bintliff said the reason he held the event was the medical community goes above and beyond on a daily basis and he wanted to show his appreciation by giving then a day of fun with their families and co-workers.

"It is also a way of giving back to my community for the support that has been given me," Bintliff said.
