Local Maine Gifts At The Morris Farm
Madeline B. Cantwell
Store Manager & Educator The Morris Farm Need some inspiration for this year's round of holiday gifts? The Morris Farm Store in Wiscasset has stocked up on gift items that everyone will love. After all, who wouldn't like a delicate glass bottle of Maine Maple Syrup or some soothing Mayari goat milk soap? We also have the locally-written and illustrated children's books "Everybody's Somebody's Lunch" and "Stone Wall Secrets," both of which are environmentally-minded and rich with outdoor adventures and animal personalities. For stocking stuffers we have mapled almonds, mapled pecans, and maple candy; and for grown-up stockings we have Mayari shaving soap, refreshing peppermint foot soap, and gourmet pickled fiddleheads. Gift wrap is available free of charge. We will continue getting fresh Borealis Bread every Wednesday and Friday around noon until we close for the season, and we have a selection of natural meats for your holiday meals, including lamb, veal, beef, and whole Morris Farm chickens. We are also stocking Ducktrap River smoked seafood, including smoked trout and salmon fillets. The store will be open this year through Thursday, Dec. 23, Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
